Recognising excellence within both the Heritage and Refurbishment \/ Revitalisation categories for the West Midlands region, Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College\u2019s<\/a> Low Carbon Technology Training Centre<\/a> has been twice shortlisted for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) 2026 Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The RICS Awards<\/a> celebrate impressive construction and sustainability projects across the UK, particularly developments that demonstrate innovation, quality and positive impact.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Low Carbon Technology Training Centre<\/a> showcases the college\u2019s major investment in sustainable education and skills development. The project has transformed existing facilities into a modern, future focused training environment, supporting the development of low carbon technologies and green skills aligned with national net zero ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clare Perez, at Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College<\/a>, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very pleased to see Holme Lacy College\u2019s Low Carbon Technology Training Centre recognised by RICS. Being shortlisted is a significant achievement and reflects the efforts of all partners involved in delivering a highly sustainable and forward-looking learning facility\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
