A development of high-specification mixed-use retail park based around an existing IKEA anchor store. To maximise the development potential of the site, a lower deck of car parking is included below the proposed retail block, delivering an increase in 50% in lettable retail area. Much attention is placed in developing public spaces, facilities and family attractions to increase dwell time on the site. A covered street concept connects all the individual traders in a unifying glazed elevation, delivering a higher level of customer experience to encourage return visits.
