YNGR Design Ltd have completed the final phase of the Low Carbon Technology Training Centre (LCTTC) for Herefordshire and Ludlow College.
This low-carbon retrofit is set to significantly impact the adoption of sustainable energy solutions in the region, with a training programme focusing on heat pumps, Solar PV installation, battery storage, EV charging and retrofit solutions.
It builds on the lessons learnt in Phases 1 and 2, employing varying types of low-carbon heating and insulation to allow students to test the efficacy of each.
The centre was officially opened by Green Party MP, Dr Ellie Chowns.
The LCTTC is shortlisted in the 2026 RICS Awards, 2026 UK Green Business Awards and 2026 CEWM Awards.
