Recognising excellence within both the Heritage and Refurbishment / Revitalisation categories for the West Midlands region, Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College’s Low Carbon Technology Training Centre has been twice shortlisted for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) 2026 Awards.
The RICS Awards celebrate impressive construction and sustainability projects across the UK, particularly developments that demonstrate innovation, quality and positive impact.
The Low Carbon Technology Training Centre showcases the college’s major investment in sustainable education and skills development. The project has transformed existing facilities into a modern, future focused training environment, supporting the development of low carbon technologies and green skills aligned with national net zero ambitions.

Winners will be announced later this year as part of the regional RICS Awards programme, with successful regional projects progressing to the national finals.
