We are delighted that the Holme Macy Low Carbon Technology Training Centre has won the Regeneration & Conservation Award at the Constructing Excellence West Midlands Awards.
The Judges offered the following citation: “The Low Carbon Technology Training Centre is a brilliant example of doing more with what we already have. Working within the constraints of a Listed Building, the team delivered a highly efficient, low-carbon refurbishment with dramatically reduced emissions—without losing the character that makes the place special. And because the building is used for education, the building itself becomes part of the lesson. Smart, sensitive regeneration with real-world impact”.
This is a fantastic achievement for Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College and the wider project team. We are proud to have played a part in delivering a scheme that combines heritage conservation, low-carbon design and long-term social value.
