HEWITT STUDIOS: December 2008 – June 2022
A founding member of Hewitt Studios (with John and Gill Hewitt), Senior Associate Paul brought his specialist education experience and research based-approach to the practice. As well as the knowledge gained from continuing project work for long-standing clients (such as Herefordshire & Ludlow College and the Morgan Motor Company), Paul has regularly tutored on design for education at Nottingham University. It is this link between theory and practice that characterises his projects, such as the research-bed Straw Bale Cafe.
AWARDS: BD Sustainability Architect of the Year 2014/15. Creative Bath Architect of the Year 2020.

SRA Architects: November 2003 – November 2008
As Associate Director for SRA Paul formed part of the Senior Management Team, responsible for the strategic management of the practice; including account-holding duties, design, marketing, motivating staff, managing resource, budget planning and liaising with Directors. He had responsibility for office-wide IT and DDA strategies and coordinated the ISO 14001 accreditation of the practice. Within his team (c.10pp) the focus was education, with arts, urban-planning and automotive as other key sectors.
