The proposal brings back into daily use the basement level rooms of a historic house in the Lansdown district of Bath. We proposed a new sunken front courtyard patio with steps leading down to the lower level where the new entrance to the self-contained apartment will be located. The secluded dwelling will be refurbished to the highest standards in order to eliminate damp and provide an insulated and self-sufficient apartment.
